The lovely Taryn has been so kind as to suggest that, as I've assigned my journalism students two blog entries, I should write a second as well. Fair enough. I like what I'm seeing from those of you (Taryn, Felipe, Mariela, Tatiana, and D-Rey) who have taken up the challenge of these blogs- a lot of good ideas, and a good understanding of the kinds of things I'll be looking for in a lead paragraph.
To the rest of you (including both editors in chief, ahem): shame.
Your grades will reflect appropriately.
A few general comments: It's great that we're commenting on each other's blogs; try to ensure that the comments you make are constructive- that is, they help the blogger to better approach his or her subject. "Good job" doesn't cut it- what has the writer done well? What questions do you still have about the subject? You should have many at this point, as we've only begun to work on our lead paragraphs. So. We have a lot of work to do. Get on board. Slackers.

Before I start writing my lead, I think I should know all the new classes so I can take it from there. I wanted to know if I could have some administrator's e-mail adresses so that I can e-mail them and ask more about the new classes and possibly get a list of the classes//teachers so it will make things MUCH easier.

Im FINALLY using a laptop! Just don't as me how. =} But check out my 5 W's and a H! Im having a hard time writing my lead right now because I need to survey and/or interview some teacher.

Any who just wanted to say that I got your feedback and that I hope you all had fun debating fun filled topics such as grammer and weather anyone cares or not about mr.y's teenage years on the forum that is my pagina. As for your suggestion, I will most definatly try and make it relevant to his new position while still being nostalgic. The finalized questions will be up shortly, my only inquiry being how many will I need??
